Pipe (Certified) Welder

Pipe (Certified) Welder – Need Immediately

Industrial contactor in Upstate, SC seeking qualified pipe welder  

Local applicants only. No travel or per diem. Competitive Wage

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Have current or able to pass a 6G weld test (tested on 2" schedule 80 steel stick, 60/10 root, 70/18 cap - uphill weld 45 degree angle)
  • Have experience with open route welding (no insert)
  • Have the ability to position weld
  • Be able to fit his or her own pipe a plus
  • Must have experience with natural gas piping, steam line or process pipe welding

Candidates must meet the following qualifications:
*Minimum 3+ years industrial project experience
*Must have basic hand tools expected for trade
*Must have reliable transportation
*Must be dependable
*Ability to work without direct supervision
